Hi Lady Sasha,

It isn't as bad as it seams. The injections just last 3-5 seconds. Don't worry. My husband gave the injections to me. I think he was more nervous that I. I said to myself "one step closer to a baby"

Is there anyone out there feeling nervous or scared about taking your injections or even the actually procedures ICSI, IVF.. Please share your thoughts with us. Let it out can be a great help.

LOL, oh Lady Sasha I know exactly what you mean, I took Gestone injections during June this year. The first time I saw the needle I almost changed my mind. I have always hated needles and it felt like such a cruel joke to be taking such a big one for so long! Every morning I'd mark the spot of choice, lie on my side, ice it for 15mins, put a rag in my mouth to muffle any scream that would escape, and put my faith in God and my husband. I got a few bad injections during those weeks, a few bleeders, lots of swelling...sometimes I even had trouble sitting....BUT...my husband and I struggled through and now I'm in my 3rd trimester and I feel my little man kicking up a storm, just anxious to come out! It was all worth it, you just do what you need to do to get the results you want. Its important to be realistic about it, yet its such a small part of the entire experience. Be brave, it'll go by faster than you think and you'll be wondering what all the fear and fuss was about!
