MemberI'm on the dreaded two week wait and I never thought it would be so hard. It's probably the hardest part of IVF. I keep praying and hoping that my embryos will implant. I keep talking to them asking them to implant. ;)

MemberI am petrified, i keep thinking it did not work again and broke into tears everywhere; especially around babies. I have resorted to limiting my social activities. this is my 2nd time around at 32yrs, I did not do my treatment at this clinic but at another clinic in the Caribbean. However, my obgyn has now been recommending it he said that some of his patients were sucessful. so i figure i will try it the next time around if i am not sucessful. i have also decided that i will not do the preg. test this time around, i will just wait until my period comes. This way i wont be as stressed, hopefully. I have a bad feeling that it is on its way, the last time i was a bit more optimistic and positive about the whole thing, but this time I try really hard not to think about it.

You have to stay positive all the time right down to the end and stressing will not help either. As I said that two week wait is a roller coaster. Find ways to relax: If you have any relaxing hobby, do it. Or find healthy ways to relax. It can be as simple as talking to an understanding person or going to bed early. Massage is a nice option for relaxation for many people even laughter.
If you are not successful this time around make an appointment to come in and speak with our nurses at the clinic or chat with someone online from Barbados Fertility Centre.

I'm 2 day's away from doing my HPT. but for the past 3 day's I just got this sad gout feeling my 3rd attempt at ivf hasnt worked. I keep wanting to do an early test, to put myself out of the misery. I had donor eggs transferred at blastocyst . with grade A eggs, we were also fortune to have 8 eggs frozen.
(This my coping mechanism kicking in) I was reading the Barbados fertility centre: FAQ "WHAT IF I WHAT TO US MY FROZEN EMBRYOS SOMEWHERE ELSE"? -
We live in the Channel Isles. and as much as I would love to travel back to Barbados for another treatment, financially this prospect is unreachable in the very near future.Should this fresh transfer not come to fruition. in 2 days time. I have a question albeit premature - Do you know how this process would work and how much it would cost us.
Getting a Neg Preg result, is too final at the moment for me.. I need to keep focused and look forward to positive possibilities.. I'm also going to buy a book called conquering infertility. by Dr.Alice D. Domar and Alice Lesch Kelly.

I am on my last day of the d2ww and I am all nerves and butterflies. I keep looking at the test in the box and wondering what it will tell me. Last night I dreamt only one pink line!! I am trying to stay calm and positive and keep consoling myself that I have a wonderful, loving, understanding and very supportive husband at my side through whatever happens. We have been through this process 6 times and I am hoping and praying that this time we will be blessed.I have had cramping and twinges all during this 2ww and sometimes I think it is the the embryos implanting and snuggling in deeply ;-) then I think it's my lining breaking down and that my period will start as soon as I get off the progesterone :-(
I am hoping that after my sleepless night, when I test in the morning it is a lovely dark pink double line - then I can tell my husband he's finally going to be a Dad...

MemberWell I did the test and it was negative. I am now off my meds and thinking about starting again. Everyone in my support group says to wait a few days and re-test! I am taking this in stride and moving forward one minute at a time. It is devastating news but I have to move forward. I know I will be successful soon. Good Luck to everyone else who is trying. Be strong and don't give up hope.

I am 4 days from testing and the suspense is killing me. This is my second attempt. I had 5 embryo's placed back on day 3. The first time I had 2 blasts put back on day 5. I had a really good feeling the first week. My breasts were tense and I felt cramping 3 days after the embryo transfer, so my guess is those were implantation cramps. Now since yesterday my breast feel less tense and I'm experiencing brownish discharge, so you can understand how I feel.
I'm trying not to let it get to me, but the first time I experienced the same brown discharge and I was not pregnant. So I am really scared.Posted 6 months ago # -

MemberI am trying to keep positive. I had no discharge today, so that helped a lot. And I just refuse to believe that not even 1 of the 5 embryo's nestled in. I also contacted the Clinic and they said that the progesteron injections might be the cause of my breast feeling less tense. So I'm feeling a lot better ... 3 days to go. Keeping positive! Promise!

This 2ww is so nerve recking. I'm trying to keep positive, this is my 3rd and final try.( I-25 hubby-31) My first icsi/ivf was unsuccessful, I only had 1 4cell to transfer on day 2. My 2nd icsi/ivf I had 1blastocyst and 1compacting cell transfered on day 5 and I did get pregnant but had a miscarriage around the 12th week. This 3rd cycle I had 2 8cell grade1 and 1 7cell grade1 transfered on day3. It's only been 6days since the ET, I did experience some cramping the 3rd and 4th day after ET. Today after a short evening nap I got up feeling crampy and slightly bloated, I hope that's normal and that there's nothing to worry about. I have 8more days till HPT so I'm gonna try to keep a positive mind set.
Keeping strong and will never give up hope!
